"This is a very special place. You pay for the tranquility and the peace. You have a private beach all to yourself. And the deer are super friendly (yes). A great plus is you can BBQ on the beach yourself. Please fix the big fridge and make more kitchen utensils and plates and glasses available. That would make it even more positive. I would come back. Beautiful location right on the canal and really convenient for day trips to Key West or Marathon. We traveled with our college aged daughter and mother. "It’s a perfect spot for a family vacation. We have 2 toddlers and even being Christmas week, everything felt amazing. No crowded at all but yet festive mood. Amenities are in great condition. The only point I would improve is service at restaurants. Other than that, excellent "

"I booked on the day of arriving (weekday) within a hour I had all the information needed for entry. Rooms were clean. BBQ grill, cooking utensils, kayaks, rowboat and bicycles are there to enjoy. Property is on a private road so there is very little traffic and noise was non-existent. The lady on property was so sweet and made my stay that much more enjoyable. If you enjoy being outside, you will see deer, they are everywhere and will walk up to you. Nature at its finest, so pleasant. Sign on property says feeding or touching deer is unlawful and can be fined or even jailed. I seen several enjoying baby carrots 🤔 "
