The apartment is great as is the pool, and marco who looks after it is very nice. There is absolutely nothing in the area, you need to get the 37 bus to Florence if you want to eat or drink anything. The co-op is closed from 8pm and all day Sunday, the only restaurant closed down recently so at 7:30pm on a Saturday we found ourselves with nowhere whatsoever to eat. We had bread that we bought earlier at the shop, and on Sunday we ate in Florence before getting the bus back - be careful, half of the buses don’t turn up
Recommended for sure if you have a car, the complex is excellent, but the local village is desolate

Hotel was in a nice quiet neighborhood, but still only a short walk to main attractions. The breakfast was excellent. Staff interactions were good.
