"The location of the cabin was a bit tricky to find, but once I found it, the experience was great. It's very private and close to nature, the cabin and surroundings were as clean as a nature retreat can get. Firewood for both the wooden stove inside and the fireplace outside was provided, which was amazing for someone who's not used to being in nature. As it was still cold, even freezing, when I was there, there were barely any bugs around!I'd have loved the convenience of a washroom in the cabin, but the shared one was close and we'll maintained. The warm water was nice after a cold night!The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful with everything that came up during my stay.The only thing that was a bit scary was coming down from the loft-like upstairs bedroom, coordinating how to get down from there was complicated as the stairs are very steep.Thanks for everything, and if I want to book a cabin again, I'll definitely book this one!"

"The house is all new construction throughout with perfect furnishings, decor, and accoutrements. The beds are very comfy with comfortable sheets and blankets. A fireplace and piano fill out the ain floor livingroom with windows everywhere open to acres of land. The bathrooms are all wonderful with lots of hot water and big fluffy towels. Feels like a resort when you step out of the shower. The kitchen was full of utilities, including pots, pans , cookware , and utensils. We made alot of meals in the massive kitchen which is full of all new appliances. We enjoyed the massive farmhouse dining table for several meals.The large property offers lots of opportunities for hiking of all challenge levels. Saw all kinds of wildlife, including deer, turkey, rabbits, and birds. The creek offers a fun destination for hiking. Beautiful place and will be back!"

"The home was very cozy and very neat and nicely decorated. The place was spacious with a fully stocked kitchen and a nice dining area. We loved the outdoor area with a firepit and beautiful walking trails. We were close to the wineries and we had a great time at the Lighthouse Theatre.We highly recommend this beautiful place. Our host was great to communicate with ."

"Don’t recommend this stay. It is set up as a large party accommodation space, however, they are very unforgiving if anything breaks. If you do stay, I recommend taking photos of how the space was left to ensure you aren’t charged for damages you are not responsible for. Unfortunately, the aftermath of our stay left a bad taste in our mouths and we are unable to recommend this stay."

"The cabin was cute but not as nice or clean as pictures. The worst was beds had been slept in as if someone had just left! No top sheet so I am sure blankes were not laundered either. Bbq was a joke, missing a grate and tank empty and not even connected so no way to cook a meal even if we had stayed! Not sure if this is on a campground there was a trailer close by. The bathroom is in separate building, probably shared, it had no toilet paper and bath tub had insects in it. We left and stayed in closest town hotel. I informed the owner who had been out of town and he promptly refunded us. I suggest he changes his lockbox number after each booking and get a new cleaning lady. He was kind enough to offer a free stay but we kindly decline. "

The layout is well thought-out, the bathrooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay with a larger group.Over the years, the cottage has seen many thoughtful upgrades. One of our favorite features is a cozy netted area on the second level — perfect for keeping an eye on the kids while enjoying a cup of coffee or playing board games downstairs in the dining area.The location couldn’t be more convenient — just a short walk to the beach, which is ideal for grandparents or families with young children. The beach itself is fantastic: shallow areas make it safe for little ones, but deeper water is easily accessible too.We’ve celebrated birthdays and special milestones here, and every year our kids ask when we’re coming back — it’s truly become a cherished tradition for our family."
