Welcome to Beachwood Lake House!

Our winterized cottage is a place for you to retreat, relax, reset and revive yourself. This is the perfect getaway for 4 people to work away from home, decompress in the sauna or just enjoy the beach.

Step out to the front deck for a shaded coffee or host dinner on the back deck in our spacious backyard, complete with a hammock, and a fire pit for stargazing at night.

Unwind in the sauna and refresh in the outdoor shower— perfect for decompressing after a busy week. Before heading to the beach, just a 5-minute walk away, check the garage for beach games like spikeball, football, badminton, and frisbees. Feel free to hang out and play darts, too!

For those working remotely, enjoy high-speed internet, a desk in the main bedroom, and multiple seating options with lap desks. This doubles as the perfect area to play some board games or watch a movie. We have ample parking for your boat, just a 3-minute drive from the launch, and we're a 2-minute walk from the bird observatory.

We’re LGBTQ+, family, and pet friendly, available year-round. Note: July and August have a six-night minimum stay, but we’re flexible for longer bookings outside the summer months. We would love to host you!

Spring stay

The house was very clean and well stocked. Sauna nice added bonus. Good location. Unfortunately it was off season so a lot of things in the area were closed but would recommend this location to stay in anytime of the year

Long Point Cottage

Very comfortable, well stocked, updated cottage with a very nice kitchen and beautiful big backyard with lots of sky. Host was very helpful with our questions. Will stay again!

With the exception of a soiled pillow case and bedding having a very minor but visible amount of another guest (or the housekeepers) hair in it, and an unsafe, lifting floorboard (trip hazard) in a high traffic area of the living/dining area, the cottage was nice overall. Closer attention ought to also have been paid to dusting cobwebs out of literally every lampshade. But again, while these flaws weren’t major, they should not have been present in a lodging priced as it is.

As advertised... and then some!

Max was a fantastic host and the cottage was more than we had expected. Perfect location near the beach, the provincial park and the bird observatory. Watch for the nesting bald eagle pair around the corner.

Birders’ paradise

My husband and I are travelling through Southern Ontario for 10 days with a focus on hitting the spring bird migration hot spots, like Long Point. This cottage is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of both wetlands and woodlands, a conservation area and a provincial park. Great place, very comfortable.

Great Beach Bungalow

Sweet place here! It may be compact, yet it’s loaded with amenities and comfort. Very clean and modern. Excellent location for beach access and long walks. Really appreciated being able to have our pup with us too. Good contact with host. We expect to return.

Perfect Cottage in Paradise!

This small but beautifully appointed cottage was the perfect getaway spot for me, my husband and our 4 legged companions. Cleanliness is always a top priority for me and this place wins the top prize in that department. Beds were comfy, plenty of room to relax on sectional sofa, good kitchen, great location, AC worked, helpful neighor! A+++

Fall getaway

So happy with our stay. We were looking for somewhere close to just get out of the city and be!! The weather was just perfect for some fall walks/exploring and movie nights. We had the best non fire the night before we left where some friends from the area joined. Everyone was so friendly. If your looking for a peaceful place to hang your hat… this is it my friends. Clean, cozy, everything we needed and more. 💕

Amazing cottage. Great location

We stayed here for a couple of nights with my souse and 2 kids (13 and 15). We had the best time. The cottage was clean and well laid out. It was so cozy and had a clean Nordic feel to it. They had everything you needed including a big basket for all our bread and pokers and Muskoka chairs for the fire It’s was private enough and so close to the beach. We loved the little shops and fry wagons near by. It was better than we expected. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely little getaway in Long Point

Had a really lovely few days in this cottage, and Long Point area. Stayed an extra day, even. More for the area, than the cottage, but still. Max helped make that possible for me. Out here you can enjoy lovely beaches a short walk away, and so much in the way of nature to take in. Bring your bug spray. Will return. Enjoyed my time immensely.
