"Our family of 5 adults and 2 kids absolutely enjoyed our holiday at this beautiful family friendly cabin. The beach access only being a 10 minute walk down the road. The cabin kitchen was well stocked and user friendly. It should be noted that the water we believe has a high iron content and would not wash personal whites and don't be surprised by yellowing on supplied white towels after showering or washing hands. We also suggest that an inventory check list be available on arrival so one can confirm what actual is there and confirm this on departure. Being told and charged for towels after our stay was really unfortunate and no recourse."

"We had a wonderful stay! Everything met our expectations. High points: the view from our balcony and the space it provided ( we spent most of our time there, watching and listening to the waves of the lake and the excitement of the thunder storm.) Also, we enjoyed the private beach, swimming and paddle boarding. Thanks again to our host, Chris."

"This property was everything we could have asked for. The space was absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't get over the view of the lake and how close the property was to the water. The host Jamie was very welcoming, and was very communicative with us before check in and during to make sure that our stay was running smoothly. It is close to town as well as the public beach and walking distance to a fabulous ice cream bar. Everyone in the building is extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint which is very minimal was the water access did not have much of a shore. We drove down to the public beach to access the shoreline. Again - not a big deal for us, it was just our preference. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Jamie!"

"Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was beautiful and very cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance you can think of. The beds were super comfortable. The backyard was just stunning- so many places to sit and read and enjoy the pool. The gardens are wonderfully maintained and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The view of the lake is just stunning. Would go again!"

"Amazing private getaway that is so picturesque and peaceful!We’ve never seen a more beautifully landscaped pond. It is luxury! The hosts are VERY RESPECTFUL OF YOUR PRIVACY and are very intentional about creating an atmosphere where you feel like you are in a cabin in the middle of the country by yourselves! We were so impressed with the very thorough thought and intentionality that was clearly put into creating this oasis. The night time outdoor lighting is also well thought out and adds to the overall ambience. Well done at creating a very private oasis- yet so close to what you need!"

"We had a great stay at the Lodge overall. It was very clean, well-maintained, and the host was excellent with communication throughout our trip. The property had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed the backyard fire pit. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had air conditioning.There were a couple of things worth noting for future guests. The Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable during our stay, and because the lodge is located just off a major road, there is consistent traffic noise. The air conditioning is provided by a window unit, which kept the main area comfortable, but the bedrooms could still get quite warm despite the overhead fans.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be a comfortable place for our vacation. If the road noise and warmer bedrooms aren’t deal-breakers for you, it’s a great option with a responsive host and a clean, welcoming space."
