"We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels.The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water...

"This was our first time visiting Germany and the house was as pictured. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We had to ask for a few appliances that were listed in description (toaster and microwave) and the host responded promptly and dropped off the requested items. "This was a great spot. We originally booked for one night it as we were taking a rhine cruise to Bingen from Boppard and then heading to another location. It was supposed to be a travel stop more than a destination. Sadly, our cruise was cancelled. There was not much to do in the area but the staff gave great recommendations and it was a little cute little town to walkabout and we had a very nice dinner riverside at the aptly named riverside restaurant. We took a short hike up to Klopp castle and it was really cool. This hotel was clean and comfortable and the coffee was great! They made a disappointing day into a nice little getaway. The river view from the room was amazing."

"Beautiful hotel and setting. We stayed in an apartment which is off-sight from the hotel, which we didn’t realize, however, I would choose that stay again. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and spacious with a balcony facing the river. We didn’t utilize the spa but did take time to tour it. Beautiful and definitely a relaxing atmosphere."

"Wonderful new hotel with cozy rooms, great views, and very tasteful interior and exterior design. We had dinner in their restaurant and the food was remarkably good, topped only by extremely attentive and swift service. My husband used the gym, which is on the smaller side but brand new, Rooms are quiet, mattress was excellent and firm - we slept very well. Overall a superb hotel in the hills above the Rhine. Highly recommend!"
