It was a last minute booking but the reception called in to check in on us to ask how we were and how far away, if they could do anything in the mean time which I thought was really sweet. They were really helpful at checkout, overall it was a really good stay the room was beautiful, & I’d definitely stay again.

Disappointing stay. We arrived to wait 20 minutes to be checked in, then were told there was no parking available and this needs to be booked 2 weeks in advance (not mentioned on the website or booking of course). We ended up having to pay $40 to park overnight in a public car park. Then the night's sleep was terrible. The room was clean however there was no soundproofing at all and we were kept up all night by the sounds of others in their rooms. We could hear conversations, coughing, whispering and kids and I'm sure other guests could hear us! To top this all off our bed had a motion sensor above it, which lit up a big red light any time we moved during the night which was light enough to brighten the whole room. It was set off by even minimal movements like scratching your nose! As a result we slept less than 3 hours all night. Very disappointing for a Mercure hotel. We will not be staying here again, especially for the price we paid.

Check in time was 2pm. Arrived at 2.45 room was not ready. Got when up by reception after 10pm asking if a Bag had been left in the room.
