Island View | Stay Waiheke

Island View is a bright and airy holiday oasis, centrally located within a few minutes walk to the white sands of beautiful Palm Beach. Enjoy both beach and bush. At the back of the property wander in amongst the punga ferns, enjoy some birdsong and relax in the tranquility with some "Forest Bathing". And at Island View if you don't want to go anywhere you can relax under the pergola on the deck and take in the stunning views.

The spacious residence is open plan and spread over three levels.

The main living area is on the entrance level and features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and a large dining/lounge area with wood fire and sliding doors opening the house to the decks and stunning views.

A heat pump/AC unit provided comfort year round. The master bedroom with super king sized bed and full bathroom is located on the upper level with two additional bedrooms and 3rd bathroom situated on the lower level of the house.

There is a fantastic playground/BBQ area at Palm Beach as well as a dairy and fish and chip shop. The main village of Oneroa, the passenger ferry at Matiatia, the vehicle ferry at Kennedy Point, a large supermarket, and Onetangi beach are all within a five to ten minutes drive from the property.

Waiheke Island is known for its stunning beaches, amazing coastal walkways and world class vineyards and restaurants. Island View is a great base to for your island holiday!

Bed configuration: Bedroom 1 - super king bed, Bedroom 2 - super king bed (can be split to singles upon request), Bedroom 3, two single beds and two trundler beds.

The house is in an elevated position up a path with 45 steps from the parking area.

Perfect Holiday Home

Well presented holiday home in beautiful Palm Beach. Only a short walk to the beach, cafe and general store. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this house as a shared or large family holiday home as it is well spread out over three levels with full bathrooms on each level. Master bedroom with ensuite on the top level is very nice! Very close to the Palm Beach hall which is great for weddings etc.

Best bach ever!

I was so impressed with the facilities of this bach. The location is superb. Palm beach is just stunning. We were very sorry to leave and could have stayed another week! I also love the artist ( is it thr owner?) paintings, scattered throughout the house. Thank you again to the owners for providing such a fantastic experience.

Lovely view

There is a really steep walk up to the house but the view and proximity to the beach really definitely makes it worth it. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed staying here very much.

Walking distance to the beach

Comfortable, spacious property just a two minute walk to beautiful Palm Beach! Great outdoor living, very comfortable beds and the kids enjoyed the puzzles and games when the weather closed in. We had a great stay, thank you :)

We loved our stay at Island View in Palm Beach. The house is super tidy, the rooms are beautiful and the house is so close to the beach, cafe and playground. Whilst the pathway to the house is super steep (great workout!) the views at the top make it all worth it.

Lovely beach house, with lots of space & modern conveniences. Comfortable beds. And fantastic views. Loved the use of the kayaks. Just be prepared to carry all bags & groceries up quite a few stairs from the car park. Good for the legs :)
