A wonderful stay

Lovely place walking distance from the township center and a little beach. Quiet and super clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved the shower! Very thoughtful details in the apartment. Great communication.

Stayed two nights in February, it is a lovely little apartment with amazing views. My only downside as we did not have a car was a bit of a walk to the shops/restaurants which was fine going there but steep climb on way back which in the hot sun was a bit tricky. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the apartment is a little older now but overall a beautiful location. Perhaps some breakfast goodies included might have been the cream on top to make it a little more special.

The property was perfect - good size room, lovely decor and amenities. Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine! It was only a few minutes walk into town (steep uphill on the walk back just lets you work off all the nice food we ate!). Perfect for a couple. Parking was a little tricky (steep) - but as we walked or E-biked everywhere, it didn't matter! We loved our stay!!

This lovely room was perfect. Jo is a warm, welcoming and professional host. She made us feel great immediately. Beautiful view, beautiful little apartment with everything you need down to the umbrella, which we did. I would make everything effort to return!

4 nights Easter break at Watermark Apartments

For Easter break, we chose Waiheke and 4 nights at Watermark. Quiet,situated 12 mins walk to main Onera Village, we enjoyed the closeness. Hilly, but we still biked and enjoyed going around the nearby bay and biking not far to Ostend. (Sat morn markets like a big garage sale, not fantastic, but food stands good) Stefanos pizza place good. Apartment no.3 small with no view, but there was a bench seat on the hill solely for No. 3 which we enjoyed with a view. One towel each supplied in apartment for 4 night stay was not ideal. A box outside front of apartments had towels in it, but without the distinction of a "clean pile"and a "dirty pile" we were unsure of these. Towels need renewing. Bed was comfy, pillows were not.They need replacing. Ironing board has broken bar at base, unsteady to use. Bathroom needs unit with a flat top put in, in the empty corner, so you can place your toiletries down. The unit sink sat on, was too small, and therefore gave you the feeling of crampness, as you could not comfortably place all your toiletries down beside you and use mirror at the same time. You had to put these on the floor OR high up to the left on the window sill. They supplied us 2 very small bottles of shower gel for 2 of us over 4 nights. This was not enough.Had to buy soap.There needs to be a stand in between the 2 lounge chairs for somewhere to put cup of coffee/glass of wine. Kitchenette tiny, needs more than one tea towel. Paid $1100 4 nights, 2 Ad. Too much for what we got.

High up on the hills yet walkable to town

Very good communication with Jo. Very thoughtful touches when I explained it was my girlfriend's birthday celebration. Good heating in the studio and ensuite, comfy bed with a good range of pillow sizes.
