The hotel was lovely but the location meant it was extremely noisy at night. I was on the 7th floor, yet due to the street noise I did not sleep before 3.00am.

The room was nice in that it was quite charming, clean and the tea/coffee/mini bar selection was great. That said, the room had a very strong odour to it that reminded me of heavy chlorine from a pool. The windows were also not sound proof so the room was quite loud even though it looked out onto the back of the building. Lots of street noise. Drop off was difficult as there was no place for the shuttle to park (the loading zone was full of cars) so the shuttle driver was quite frazzled as he had to park in a live traffic lane. I would guess it would be equally difficult if you were driving a car. The staff were extremely friendly, I’m guessing they must be short staffed as I was there for 24 hours and saw the same 5 individuals through the entire stay. Despite working long hours they were attentive and very professional. The restaurant has a very limited menu available for dinner and the continental breakfast was underwhelming. Mediocre restaurant experience at best. Although the staff were amazing the rest of the experience certainly didn’t match other five star hotels.
