Great location. Good dining options close by, including a restaurant just below the hotel. Nice balcony. Separate sitting area — very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially loved Ava (not sure of the proper spelling) — she was so kind!

We enjoyed the hotel a lot. Super friendly staff and the hotel is very clean, with a super large bathroom and nice balcony. Great location as well. We left early in the morning and the staff packed some breakfast for us to take away. Will definitely stay there again at our next visit to Athens!

Clean, modern, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Walkable to all the tourist sites. Central to shops, cafes & restaurants. 10 mins walk to metro that took us from & back to airport. A most enjoyable 3 nights stay in Athens.

Ok but a sad incidence of missing items.
Other than losing some food items I put in the fridge, stay and service were great. I hope no one was responsible for the loss. That was really very disappointing. Hopefully it fell under the fridge drawer when I pulled it later. Just thought about it now. They should really investigate though. I bought the items in Lisbon and though not very expensive and a lot, they were pretty special.

Couldn't be more central
Fantastic hotel in the middle of central Athens - you just walk out and you are amidst the historic, shopping or party areas of the city. The receptionist Denitsa was kind and professional and you feel most welcome the moment you step in the hotel and you can sense that your comfort is their priority. The room was beautiful, though without any view.

I love the area of the hotel. Its in a very busy place. There are lots of restaurants right underneath the hotel. Acropolis was very near. I loved the smell of their beddings. So refreshing. However, the hotel itself is very small. The lift of the hotel was also very small that we could only fit our bag in the lift and we took the stairs. The room was decent but technically there was no window. The window they have, doesn’t have any view of outside. Overall, not a bad for short stay. I only stayed there for few hours to catch my flight from Athens.

Loved our stay in the superior suite - lovely balcony on the 2nd floor. The location was phenomenal in the heart of Plaka with a short walk to the train station. Short walk to several amazing restaurants. Not too far walk from the Acropolis and the Pynx. Easy check in and check out process with luggage storage available so you have time to explore the beauty of Athens. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It made for a wonderful anniversary and birthday trip!

Staff was very helpful, helped us locate parking nearby, figure out the ferry to our next destination, and gave us recommendations in Tinos (one of the islands we were traveling to). Our room had a nice terrace and was very clean and comfortable.

Great Room, Excellent Location!
This hotel is right smack in the middle of all the action! The first floor is a cafe/restaurant where you can get your day started. If you choose to go elsewhere, there are plenty of choices all around. As soon as you exit the building, you're on Ermou St., which is a pedestrian street full of shops and places to eat. You're a 10 minute walk from Syntagma Square and Monastiraki Square, and a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis. The location could not be better! Our room was very nice and comfortable. The bed is super comfy and large. There were robes and slippers for you to use after a good shower. The room was an adequate size, and the drinks in the refrigerator were an added bonus. The only thing you should know is that the elevator in this hotel is tiny, no exaggeration. My wife and I barely fit, and the door would hit us when it closed. We were actually amused by the size of it, and didn't mind it at all. Having said this, you'll need to wait if there are others trying to access it at the same time, or you can use the stairs, which we did on a few occasions. The people here were amazing! The porter took our luggage up and down for us so we wouldn't have to struggle with it. The lady at the front desk called us a taxi for when we left to the airport and she also helped us with suggestions on where to eat. Overall, this hotel was exceptional and we would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, great location. Room was ever so slightly dated but not bad. We had a standard room with basically no windows but the plus side was it was very quiet despite being in the heart of the busiest part of Athens.

We LOVED our stay at Athenian Foss. The staff was very attentive and welcoming, and the location was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend it, as the rooms are beautiful and you are close to the best spots in the city.

Athenian Foss worked well for us. Great location. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Other reviews indicated some noise from the pedestrian plaza at night. We heard a little music one night but not the other three. It did not disturb us. Our room was small but that was not an issue for us as all we needed it for was sleeping and getting ready at night and in the morning. We would stay at Athenian Foss again!

The Hotel is good, a very tiny elevator, but the suite was excellent, with a nice view to the city and the Acropolis. It is close to everything, a very walkable area with lot of restaurants and shopping centers. The hotel staff is amazing. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

I recently booked a room through Hotels.com and had an excellent experience during my stay in Athens. Despite arriving late at 22:30, I was warmly welcomed upon entry, which made me feel valued and appreciated. The room was exceptionally clean, and its quiet ambiance provided a peaceful retreat after a long flight from the US. The tasteful design added a touch of elegance, creating a comfortable and visually appealing space. The hotel staff was exceptional, displaying a genuine warmth and professionalism. They were always available to assist me with any inquiries or requests, ensuring that I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the fantastic restaurant located below the hotel. The greek menu offered delicious culinary options, both local and international. Very good location, close to everything and felt very safe. Breakfast was great. Some downfalls, though: Due to a scheduling issue we had to move rooms after our first night, which definitely was not ideal. Lots of street noise at night, but that’s to be expected.
