"Fabulous motel, staff were so lovely & friendly. Room was so clean and decorated beautifully, only down fall I would say is the streaming on the telly so complicated messing with WiFi settings to get it going. But has to channels anyway, ample parking, restaurant was lovely m&s garage in walking distance to. All in all a lovely stay & the drink vouchers for my partners 30th birthday was such a lovely treat. "

"Exterior of property was not very inviting, interior was very tired, carpets and furniture very worn, some bathrooms unusable so we had to share. Overall the property was very disappointing which overshadowed a family weekend together"

"Chapel house is an absolutely stunning property and very clean however we all found the beds and pillows uncomfortable, one bed I could feel the springs! Towels need to be bigger, they are not a bath towel size. The house was extremely hot and the heating controls were in locked Perspex boxes so we were unable to change this. We contacted the person direct, although in the manual it says not to during weekends, to be told that there is nothing that can be done. We found this quite shocking considering the price that we paid and felt uncomfortable due to the temperature. We have since read reviews from a while ago about the heating and feedback stated that it was being sorted but clearly it hasn’t!!! We loved the property but sadly the lack of sleep due to the beds and a very loud boiler that woke us all quite early and being too hot and not being able to control the heating, really does let the property down and would stop us from returning. The village is very small and pubs were average, apart from The Plough Inn which served amazing food and picked us up and dropped us home for Sunday lunch, amazing and friendly landlord with a lovely dog called Margot. The butchers in the village is fantastic too! The late check in of 5pm and check out of 10a.m also adds to the not great value for money."
