"The Vines I believe has been recently taken over by new owners/management. They are still trying to find their feet, but are open and upfront about it from the moment you check in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beer cold and crisp, the room clean and peaceful. I think once they get their rhythm the vines will only get better, though I did enjoy the feeling of it being like coming home to mum and dads which sometimes is a good thing and needed."

"The stable was in the most perfect location to explore the local sites and other villages! It is a picturesque place, with everything you need. We were able to utilise the hot tub for some lovely relaxation, the outside space for a nice dog walk and the main town was just a 5minute drive away. The Stables was lovely and clean and plenty of room for the 3 of us and the dog. It had all you needed in the kitchen space and all the utensils you would need. Also, the shower was glorious!!! I could not fault our stay and would happily come again"

"We stayed at Japonica with another couple, the cottage is furnished and equipped really nicely which made it feel very homely, there was pleanty of logs available to use the log burner. The weather was nice so we used the outdoor furniture. I think an outside firepit would be a nice addition for summer. I definitely recommend and sure we will be back sometime!!"

"The property and adjacent garden area were ideal for a weekend stay for a get together we my old school friends and their families. The property was well stocked with all the items you could need for a stay there e.g. pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery and having a dishwasher was a bonus. The beds were not luxurious (a basic folding metal frame), however, despite this they were surprisingly comfortable and I slept really well there. "
