Sightseeing around Asakusa

The area's storied past is told through its monuments and temples, while the museums provide some cultural flavour. Ichiyo Memorial Museum, Leather Industry Museum, and Edo Shitamachi Traditional Crafts Museum feature a variety of exhibits. Getting around Asakusa

For a quick way to explore the city, catch a ride on metro transit at Minowa Station, Minami-Senju Station, or Minowabashi Station. If you want to head out of town, you can hop aboard a train at Tokyo Minami-Senju Station.

At 19.6 km (12.2 miles), Tokyo (HND-Haneda) is the closest major airport to Asakusa. You can also fly in and out of Tokyo (NRT-Narita Intl.), which is located 53.4 km (33.2 miles) away.
