Chateau de Chissay

"We enjoyed our stay in this truly historic chateau. The property has so much history that we enjoyed walking around seeing everything. The architecture is fascinating. Beautiful view of the valley from the dining room. Our room was basic but clean. Big comfortable tub. They had forgotten to change out our towels so we had to ask for fresh. Minor inconvenience. We had an excellent dinner in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a view out to the courtyard. The breakfast is ala carte and plentiful. A nice variety of eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cheese and meats. We were just there for one night driving through to Paris. It fit our needs perfectly."

"Location idéale pour un couple. Une petite terrasse devant au soleil pour le petit déjeuner, un petit jardin derrière avec terrasse pour déjeuner et dîner. A proximité des châteaux de la Loire. Propriétaire accueillant et de bon conseil. Nous recommandons fortement.Tout est conforme à la description"

"A part un probleme de pression d'eau tres faible (peut etre dû à la sècheresse ou à des travaux sur les conduite, à vérifier), c'est top et j'y aurais bien passé quelques jours de plus si j'en avais eu le temps.Le terrain est tellement grand, j'ai personnellement regretté d'avoir oublié ballon et mon avion radio commandé."

"C etait super ! Un logement comme décrit sur l’annonce , une bonne communication avec l hôte et un endroit très propre . Beaucoup de matériels à disposition nous avons adorés ! Le prix est parfait pour tout ce qui est fournis : serviettes et linge de lit , tablette lave vaisselle et lave linge , papier toilette pour le premier jour , et en plus en cadeau une bouteille de rosé offerte .Merci beaucoup "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation. The breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic variety of delicious options, and we particularly loved how much they championed local produce and suppliers. Alexandra was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, and even went out of her way to arrange a dinner reservation for us one evening, which we really appreciated. The pool was also beautifully maintained and a lovely place to relax. Overall, a fantastic stay with wonderful hospitality — we would thoroughly recommend it!"

"Jeremy and Kim were the perfect hosts.The property was just what we expected and our 5 year old granddaughter and 10 month old grandson absolutely adored the swimming pool.All good baby equipment supplied bedroom lay out was very good for a family with young children and grandparents Thank you Kim and Jeremy for a lovely holiday and for making our holiday perfect.The West family"
