Charming hostess, excellent service

We spent three nights at Le Moulin Du Port and loved it. The house and the garden are beautiful and we felt like home here. Owner Alexandra helped us to find nice restaurants nearby. She really is devoted to her customers. Excellent breakfast, something different every morning. Ecological waste water system and ecological soaps provided.

Parfait lieu au calme entre château et zoo

Un super accueil par Alexandra pour nous présenter les lieux et nous faire profiter du grand salon avec la cheminée avec les nombreux livres et jeux de société à disposition en plus de thé et café à volonté. La chambre Aline était parfaite pour nous accueillir avec nos 2 filles. Au réveil, la vue sur le cher et son écluse est parfaite pour partir d un bon pied. Touche parfaite avant le départ: le petit déjeuner complet servi à table avec produits locaux frais et variés.

Alexandra est très symphatique et aux petits soins. L'endroit est très apaisant et calme pour une pause proche des châteaux. Le petit déjeuner est préparé par Alexandra, du fait maison avec les produits locaux :) servit dans la jolie et lumineuse véranda. Notre chambre N1 était grande face à la Loire, avec le son de l'eau au top. Merci !

Excelente opción!

El hotel es una casa justo al lado del Rio Loira, con una vista increible y ubicado a solo 5km del Castillo de Chenonceaux. Alejandra, la dueña, fue muy amable y nos atendió de maravilla. La casa esta llena de pequeños detalles. Las habitaciones son de muy buen tamaño y con vista al río. Definitivamente, un gran lugar para recomendar.

Magnifique

Tout était parfait, l accueil avec présentation de la minoterie et sa superbe roue, la grande chambre très confortable, la grande salle de bain, le parc autour, et le calme, nous n'avons pas pu hélas profiter de la piscine(vu le temps). Alexandra est une hotesse attentive a nos désirs, nous composant un petit déjeuné différent tous les jours, nous conseillant sur les très bons restaurants (réservant une table pour nous) les lieux a voir. Nous remerçions Alexandra son mari pour tout (et une caresse pour le chien).

Détente au bord de l’eau

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au moulin du port et avons été très bien accueilli par Alexandra et Pascal. Le mot “Hôte” retrouve toute sa splendeur grâce à l’accueil reçu et notre beau séjour au moulin. Le petit verre de bienvenue nous a permis de se sentir accueillis chez eux et d’engager une conversation très agréable sur la région. la qualité des chambres et la décoration soignée mais également toutes les petites attentions apportées et les conseils prodigués, notamment sur les balades à faire à vélo le long du Cher jusqu’au château de Chenonceaux tout proche, ou les restaurants nous à fait passer un beau moment de détente. Le salon confortable permet de se détendre en profitant d’un coin lecture. Nous nous sommes également régalés avec ce superbe petit déjeuner préparé avec des produits fait maison ou de petits producteurs locaux. C’était délicieux. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter si l’occasion se représente de visiter à nouveau cette belle région.

Old mill B&B

Lovely old mill with tranquil surroundings and peaceful environment. Perfect place for stop over or even longer stay. Near by village offered top class cuisine and service from hostess was superb. Highly recommendation to visit and you can enjoy French countryside as it best.

Agréable, propre et idéalement situé

Super séjour durant trois nuits au moulin du port où nous sommes accueillis très chaleureusement ! Tout est fait pour satisfaire notre séjour, le tout toujours avec sourire! À 20 minutes du Zoo de Beauval et loin de la foule des hôtels du parc, la localisation est parfaite, en bord de Cher!!! Nous y retournerons sans doute si nous allons à la découverte des châteaux de la Loire !! Merci à nos hôtes

Excellent sejour

Super sejour au moulin du port. Hôte tres sympathique, la maison est tres chaleureuse propre et au calme sur les bords du Cher. Piscine bien agreable tout comme les nombreuses tables et transat pour se relaxer. Petit dejeuner renouvelé chaque matin avec des produits locaux.
