"Just book it! This is a lovely property, right at the foot of la Cite. It has a charming garden, patio and pool; and an excellent breakfast buffet. A little gem. The view out the window was stunning at every hour. The light here, whether at sunrise, mid-day or sunset, is stunning. In the morning and evening the temperature here is cool and feels delightful. Truly a beautiful spot. "

This quiet little corner of Carcassone was so close to the walled city, yet was beautiful to stay at, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the pool was a fantastic spot to cool off in the afternoon. Plus, the decor of the rooms was fantastic (our was hot pink and orange). Could not have been happier with our stay at Hotel Montmorency!"

"In a great place to go visit the medieval castle. Room was comfortable & breakfast was lovely. There’s a pool there too but bit too cold for me, I’m a whimp, but husband had a swim. Would stay there again."
