"I have been in Ecuador for a month, and this hotel has been my least favorite. The staff does not seem to communicate well and is inconsistent in applying policies. The views are great, and the pool is nice, but the staff needs training and simplified processes. The rooms are also very sparse. I was surprised by the rating of this hotel on Expedia. I checked out as soon as I could, and I am glad I was only there for one night."

"Beautifully designed building! Staff were all super friendly! There is no hot water for my shower for or five days. There was loud music or soccer game playing into the night three of the eight days I was there but no louder than most Latin American hotels/countries. Overall, I do highly recommend The Poseidon!!!"
