Waking up to the sound of waves was the best of the stay. Amazing view of the beach and open spaces. Staff were friendly and tried to accommodate our needs as best they could however as not a busy season at times it was hard to find some help. Food could improve. Having a safe, quiet and beautiful place by the beach that is also pet friendly is a wonderful combination. Would return and recommend.

Loved Villa Kite

I loved the hotel! I also loved its location. Couldn’t be better! Also there’s a great little hamburger/pizza place to the side of the hotel that’s open only at weekends - try it! Best hamburgers and secret sauce is so special!

I would definitely go back!

Staying at Villa Kite was a fabulous experience. The hotel is beautiful, modern, clean, and in front of the beach. I reserved the room in front of the oceans and it was great sleeping with the waves sounds. I loved the area, the hotel, the people working there were SUPER kind and accommodating. My only wish was that the room was bigger and the mattress more comfortable.

Mala experiencia no lo recomiendo

Cuarto oscuro y sin ventilación, toallas viejas, no hubo productos de aseo personal y no se interesaron por proporcionarlos, el Agua de la piscina fría, no me entregaron factura y se supone q en el precio de la reserva ya está incluidos impuestos y sin embargo me cobraron el Iva, no sé si fue lo correcto. En todo caso, no regresaría y no lo recomendaría. No me gusto para nada el Hotel por el valor pagado no tiene relación con el servicio recibido.

The idea of visiting Villa Kite had me excited Once i arrived i was a little disappointed in the room because it was very small and the bathrooms are even smaller. The service was good and staff was very helpful. overall it was an ok experience but could had been a lot better if they had more selection on drinks and food.

Not what we expected

Villa kite was quite disappointing compared to other hotels we‘ve stayed on out trip through south america. We stayed there for three nights over new year’s eve. The room we booked was the habitacion matrimonial, a very small room where we hardly had space to put our stuff and which was dirty when we arrived. The bathroom was even smaller, my knees almost touched the wall when I sat on the toilet. There was hot water and a good working AC. You have to like each other as the bed is quite small. It was not possible to properly darken the room and we slept with ear plugs because of many different noises from outside the room. The staff at the reception weren’t that friendly, but the others were, especially the barman. Breakfast was included. We were given the same prepared things each day. Cup of coffee/tea, glass of juice, bowl of fresh fruits, scrambled egg and arepas. Portions were rather small and neither coffee or eggs/arepas were served hot, and we had to ask them to refill our cups with coffee. We gave some clothes to the laundry and they mixed up ours with clothes from another guest. It took them two days until we had all our stuff back. Therefore, better note down what you give them to wash. The pool area was nice, there were beach beds with matresses. Also the bar had nice drinks. We would not choose this hotel and also not Santa Marianita again for a kitesuring vacation.
