"We saved so much by staying at the Ryu Guest House instead of a Marriot or Holiday Inn. It was like apartment studio living abroad in Sinsadong, Gangnam, Seoul, SK. Everything was walking distance to Metro, Food, Groceries (CU Market), Bars (Kompact Record Bar), Coffee Houses (Milestone) and Garosugil (Trendy Area). We felt very safe as well. This hotel is all pretty wrapping, with no substance: (1) Room was 84° and AC not operational, no fans, could not sleep; (2) Food & drink choices very limited; (3) staff could not answer questions (not a language issue, they were inexperienced & lacked knowledge); (4) asked repeatedly for face cloths & never received( 5) bar pitch black and playing horrible, loud rap music.
