"We had an absolutely fabulous stay at The Homestead. Everything about it is wonderful…. From the location to the beautiful room and breakfast area, but what stood out the most was our lovely friendly host Brit!! Lovely breakfasts, great tips on the area and great to chat to. Attention to detail at the Homestead is spot on. Thank you for everything!!!"

"The location is perfect - walk to the beach easily with little ones. If wasn't sleeping, I was sitting on the front porch on a comfy settee, watching people walk by. Met and spoke with the owners who were lovely as well as attentive. However - I was surprised at the lack of basics - I have rented many times before (not sure if via VRBO or what) and there have always been beach chairs, decent dishes, good place to sit outside,out door shower etc. Grill was unusable (to us) as were coffee pots. Next year we are going to look at Guilford or another Shoreline - maybe Madison has just gotten out of my price range. "

It was the perfect retreat for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the breathtaking sunset views, especially while cooking in the beautifully designed kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare an amazing family dinner. The town of Clinton was absolutely charming, with the friendliest people, and we fell in love with Hammonasset Beach—it’s a must-visit! We’ll definitely be returning in the summer. The home’s privacy was a huge bonus, and the updated finishes were a great touch. It was a great experience!"
