The room was ideal for what we needed, which was a base to sleep as we were out the whole time at the Dutch Grand Prix. It is ideally situated to walk to the vibrant parts of Amsterdam and within easy reach of transport. We had to check in after hours and the hotel staff were around to accommodate this. It was then easy to get in and out when we needed to. The bed was comfy and the temperature of the room was good.

For my first time going to Amsterdam this place was perfect for the price. Location was decent. Fyi for Americans staying here is this warning. They do not have air conditioning or fans. Im a stoic so this wasn't a problem for me. Just wanna let you know.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the location was perfect, however nothing else positive can be said. The rooms are disgusting, I am not a picky person or a germophobe but there was mold on the mirror, on shower curtains, no ventilation and the room literally smelled. No bed bugs but they don’t have real room service either, you have to ask them if you’re staying for long to clean your room.

Single traveler first time at this hotel, would revisit. Located in a relatively quiet street hidden in the centre of amsterdam. Beautiful location. Hotel like all amsterdam is old. But quaint and beautiful architecture. Had double room with private bath. Comfy bed. Tv. Clothes hanging in cupboard. Ideal for short stays. Staff helpful and nice people, think its family run. Really nice place for single or couples.

This was almost like staying at a hostel. You had to walk sideways to get past the bed. No toilet paper, hand soap, shampoos were provided. Very BASIC room .... which did have a canal view, but not much else in terms of amenities. Location is good.

Not sure what all the bad press was about for this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed in room 14 for 4 nights and it was lovely! After reading some reviews before arriving, we were hesitant, but honestly the hotel was exactly what we needed. It was clean, the staff were polite and the room was perfect just to sleep in while we explore the area. Would highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was great! Everything was within walking distance. The rooms felt very cozy too. However upon checking in was the first time when I discovered that i had to pay a €100 deposit, which would’ve been helpful to know prior the check in.
