Romick (spelling??) is a very gracious host. He went out his way to make sure we were comfortable. The location is great. Very near many things to do or you can just sit on the deck and enjoy the lovely view. I wish I had more time to spend. Excellent!!!
First time staying on a boat and our host Christophe fud everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. His accomodating mannerism including for breakfast made the stay 1st class. Found the cabin warm so he set up a fan for us. Thank you Christophe.
The staff was fantastic! Breakfast was delicious. They even made our eggs to order ☺️. Thankfully there was a couple walking into the hotel when we were trying to check in otherwise we wouldn't have known what to do.
The staff & owner lived on the boat which we found made it more like visiting friends than a sterile hotel. Speaking directly to the chief insured your eggs were cooked perfectly. Best eggs ever! Very European breakfast buffet with water, coffee & tea available 24 hours and quaint dinning area making it feel like home.
Rooms are extremely small, on a boat with basic amenities in the rooms. Not for the handicap having steep steps and size. The location was very safe and one block from the Navel Museum, 15+/- walk to the central rail station and 20 minute walk to the #1 voted French fries in Amsterdam store with 24 dipping sauces. We walked everywhere day and night.
Do not know how it works at hotels but we paid extra for the “hotel tax”, was advised at booking, an extra 62 euros at checkout.
It’s a very unique way to stay in Amsterdam, but we enjoyed it a lot! The staff are lovely and welcoming, as was the breakfast and rooms. The rooms were slightly small - but that’s expected for a boat! It was in a great location, perfect for visiting all the great places in the city.

The manager Agnes was brilliant. Very helpful and welcoming. Volunteering assistance and cheerful at every turn.
Overrasket over hvor sentralt og stor lugarer med stort flislagt bad på alle lugarer.
Enkel men god frokost og kaffe fri hele døgnet.
Hyggelig betjening så alt var toppers..-))
We enjoyed our stay on this boat. As we own our own boat we completely understand that cabins are smaller than a hotel room; with not much in the way of storage space, but for the amount of time we required a room it was perfect. Staff were helpful and very kind. Breakfast was superb. Everything was within walking distance for the most part and we purchased an IAmsterdam Pass at the tourist office which included public transport so anything further was still easily accessible. Advice to anyone going here is to not let the taxi driver tell you it is not easy for him to access and we could easily walk to the docks. Without luggage there would be no problem but in the dark, in high winds and not really certain about where we should go we had a slightly unpleasant experience in finding the docks initially. Had it not been for some helpful young people we may have gotten quite lost. The taxi driver just didn't want a short trip with a small amount of earning. Had we not been so tired we would have gotten his cab number and reported him but we didn't think about that at the time. Our return journey from ship to train station went without a hitch and the taxi arrived at the dock on time so no hauling heavy suitcases around.
We stood there for 2 nights over New Year’s Eve and enjoyed the time. Really nice Hotelschip and the owner is really friendly. Breakfast amazing and close to the city.
