Overall we had a great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t work in our cabin which I needed to do some work. This place is excellent if you want to be close to Amsterdam but avoid the business. It’s located at one end of the Amsterdam Woodlands in Amstelveen, very close to Schiphol. Very convenient location wise for us. You are also close to nature and walks and can see birds from a close distance. You can also hire bikes for the day. We really enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was more luxurious than expected. The quality and space of the bathroom, much better than a traditional hotel. Excellent coffee making and tea facilities. 2 things that can be improved but overall did not affect my stay. a. could not work the radiator in the bathroom. b. a microwave in the room would be a nice touch. Far away from the city. The bus stop is only good for the express bus to airport, not valid with a normal travel card. Solution ? Drive if you can, just 1 mile up the road to a tram 25 station such as Westweijk.

Property didn’t come with basic stuff like hand wash liquid or towels! You should be careful if you book this property out of Europe as the basic rooms does not even have a washroom and you should pay extra to get those stuff in your package! You should even rent towels if you want take a shower. It’s just a dry camping site not a hotel.

Not entirely accurate

Nice place, clean enough. About 25 mins, just over a mile to the nearest tram stop and if you do an Amsterdam day ticket you aren't covered for the buses that run past the site. Only real issue we faced is the room we booked clearly stated it had a bathroom, but in our experience and on walking about the site, i would say about 80% of the place does not have that luxury. The communal toilets ajd showers were ok, definitely needing some.refurb works but clean enough to not be disgusting. Fortunately the staff did try in our case to upgrade us, not that we should of needed it. No help from hotels.com though, definitely wont be using this site again though.

The only problem is the wood cabin I lived in has bedbugs. All my people were seriously bit by these bugs and worried to bring these bugs back to home. Except to this problem, all other are quite well.

Fin udgangspunkt for området.

Fint sted som udgangspunkt for at se området. Ikke et sted såfremt man skal opholde sig megen tid på selve pladsen. Noget larm om natten - muligt at vædde sig til.

Era justo lo que buscábamos

Estuvimos en la Habitación conection 2. En general la experiencia genial, repetiríamos. La limpieza bastante bien. En la cocina hay sartén, un par de ollas, cubiertos, etc. Para cocinar un par de días está perfecto, aunque echamos en falta que hubiera cosas básicas como sal y jabón para los platos (dan un botecito pequeño, para un par de días igual bien, pero para una semana tuvimos que comprar nosotros y es una pena porque sobra mucho). La cama no es incómoda aunque tampoco una maravilla, el somier bastante endeble y aunque las camas están juntas se separan muy fácil y para dormir en pareja es molesto. Entra mucha luz y el sonido es un poco molesto si llueve. Nosotros no escuchamos a nadie de la habitación de al lado (no sabemos si había alguien). Nos dieron la habitación antes de la hora teórica, las camas estaban hechas y nos dieron toallas y jabones, se suponía que había que contratarlo con un suplemento así que no lo esperábamos. Tiene armario grande y la tele bastante moderna. Respecto al transporte hasta aquí lo único malo es que el bus pasa cada 30 mins y como está fuera de Amsterdam capital es algo más caro (se puede llegar con la tarjeta de transporte de Amsterdam y REGION), está muy bien conectado con el aeropuerto y la tranquilidad que hay en este alojamiento es una maravilla. En general, una muy buena experiencia.
