Wonderful small boutique hotel. Rooms were good size for 2 people. Ours had two closets. A safe, and nespresso machine. And thank goodness we had AC for the record breaking heat wave. Hotel is in a perfect location. Just minutes to Museum area, de Pijp, jordaan , or the RDL. Did not try the restaurant but they have a lovely small bar in the lobby and they have coffee, tea, water and even some popsicles available for the kiddos. Fantastic stay

The Albus Hotel is centrally located in Amsterdam, with a tram stop approximately a two-minute walk away, making it convenient for exploring the city. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and provided ample room for our stay. Some aspects of the apartment could benefit from updates, although everything was functional. The room was stocked with coffee, and tea was provided promptly upon request. The apartment had its own entrance from the street which made it feel like staying in a rental property. Hotel staff were friendly and responsive throughout our stay. The property is relatively small, with a compact restaurant and bar area. Guests should note that access to the apartment involved very steep and narrow stairs. This may be challenging for travellers with mobility limitations or those carrying large or heavy luggage. Overall, the hotel offers a central location, spacious apartment accommodations, and attentive service.

We are on week 9 of traveling Europe. This hotel was our least favorite so far. It is old, but clean. The room we were in had plain walls, nothing hanging, no small refrigerator. It is loud because the walls are thin. The staff was excellent, the saving grace.
