Quiet area. Comfy bed. Downside: Spa bath was disgusting. Jets need to be cleaned out pumping gunk into the water. BBQ plate rusted and not able to cook on it.

Our main reason for staying in Amamoor was for The Mary Valley Rattler steam train ride to Gympie and return. Was great. We also visited The Cascades just a short drive past Amamoor township. Beautiful walk, thankyou Malcolm for suggesting that.

Perfect if you want to get away from city/suburb build up. Not close to any major stores, but that can be a good thing. A quiet and scenic town.
