We spent most of the time just at the cabin... a couple of days we ventured out and went to parks and small towns. We hope to come back some day... very nice."

"First I was surprised there was no wifi. But my daughter had wifi from her work that she brought so that worked. Couldn’t find a trash can in the kitchen. Text and called but no response. Then it was so dark in there. Not even a lightbulb in the nightstand lights. Even the bedrooms were dark. Plus there was a light over the bathroom sink. Could find a switch to make it come on. Cushions outside very worn and tattered. Other than that it was great. Nothing we couldn’t work around. Great location."

"We loved this cute, cozy, comfy cabin. Just the right size for a couple - not too big, but not too small either. Very quiet location, wi-fi worked great, comfy bed, water temperature/pressure for the shower was perfect. The entire cabin was very clean. Loved the Americana decor and the small basket of snacks added a nice touch. Looking forward to staying again sometime."

"Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool."
