"Tessa and Bernard are outstanding knd host! They treated us and hope vice versa like family. This is annual girls trip and won't go anywhere else to stay. Breakfast and coffee were amazing!"

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. When we arrived water hardly worked. We immediately contacted host who responded right away but lead us to believe the problem was not a big deal and would be solved quickly. He also did not inform us that a water issue would allow us to have VRBO rebook us somewhere else! To make a long, painful experience short, the water never worked. We had to book a hotel room so the 6 of us could take showers before the family wedding we needed to attend. Host offered us 2 nights refund if we left but we trusted him to fix the problem. That was our mistake, we should have left. We didn’t. Host said he would compensate us but his offer was 150 back of our 1,000 payment for 3 days of an incredibly uncomfortable, unacceptable experience."

"Everything about the house was very good and as expected. I did have two issues that frustrated me. The propane tank for the grill was essentially empty. We had planned to grill so this was frustrating. Also, The Management company sent me 14 emails within 24 hours of making the reservation. I thought that was excessive and annoying. They also required an additional contract beyond what VRBO requires. The house itself, and everything else was exactly as advertised."

"Location of rental on the river was nice with good proximity to Boone, however road and bridge were busy with cars and fishermen. Not a great spot for dogs in the yard without a chain or leash. The home wreaked of cigarette smoke so much so that we had to keep windows open. The gas fireplace was not working, it released lots of gas smell into the home and not all burners would light. Fireplace also had no cover. The rental company did send someone out when we complained of the gas smell however they were unannounced and wanted to have maintenance come during our stay. The rental company has a stingy approach with towels and paper products that would have been a pain with more than 2 guests. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again and would think twice before booking with this rental company."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better home base for our group of 12 in the Boone mountains! The house was perfect for our large group — plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax without feeling crowded.The kids were especially thrilled with all of the game options available. It kept them entertained for hours! The location was ideal — we were able to get to activities in and around Boone with ease, which made planning our days stress-free and fun.The host was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, from booking through checkout. Any questions we had were answered quickly and kindly. And perhaps most importantly, the house was exactly as described and pictured — no surprises, just a great experience from start to finish.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain getaway in the Boone area!"
