Location! Location! Location! Located on the edge of Boone down a private driveway on a 3-acre secluded mountainside. This light and airy cabin has been professionally decorated and equipped to make your stay extremely comfortable. Easy access to all of the area attractions including ASU, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, all ski resorts, Blowing Rock, Banner elk, Hawksnest, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, etc. Only a few days a year will there be so much snow that a 4 wheel drive is recommended.

We loved the fireplace and the location! The beds were very comfortable. The home is very, very nice and close to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Boone. It is so private and secluded, but there is alittle bit of road noise. Light sleeps, bring your noise machine.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We truly enjoyed our stay in this private cozy cabin. It offers the best of both privacy and convenience to local shops and attractions. I would definitely stay again.

Christmas vacation

We all enjoyed our time in this beautiful cabin, it was very close to restaurants and ski resorts and at the same time secluded. The perfect getaway for a family coming from Florida with kids.

Family vacation

Our family loved the cabin very spacious very clean it has all the amenities you need for a perfect family vacation. It’s in a prime location close to town but far enough out for privacy. I spoke to the property owner he was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that’s looking for nice cabin for a family vacation thank you Jason m

Perfect Cabin Stay

Very nice cabin that was exactly as described. Feels secluded with beautiful views, yet is close enough to town and area landmarks to do lots of activities. It was the perfect size place for seven of us. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Mother/Daughter Weekend Spot

We rented this cabin for our first annual Mother/Daughter weekend with our freshman App State Students. This cabin was beautiful, super convenient and close to everything in Boone! The space was perfect for us, open kitchen for cooking, living room up and downstairs for playing games and doing puzzles. Lots of sleeping room with comfortable beds. All in all this was exactly what we needed and wanted for our weekend. We definetley will book this cabin again!

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was the perfect size and in a great location - easy to find and get to and very well appointed. Everyone in our group agreed that it was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Our only complaint was that we weren't staying for more than the 3 nights we were there.

Can’t wait to book again!

This beautiful home was perfectly located in Boone. We loved staying just outside of town. It was quiet and peaceful but close enough to all Boone and surrounding areas have to offer. The Peddlin’ Pig BBQ (just up the street) was excellent! We are already planning out next stay at this awesome property.

A quick weekend in Boone!

Myself and a small group of App State Alums used this space for a weekend football game. Check in and check out was very easy, the beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the cabin was so cozy and warm! We enjoyed the beautiful views and easy access to downtown Boone. We will definitely book again if we're in the area! Thank you!

We were very pleased with the cabin and amenities. The cabin was clean and ready for our stay. We got to enjoy a day in due to rain then we enjoyed a day exploring. Our day exploring ended with some snow and the kids were elated.

Peaceful

This was a beautiful cabin. We immediately felt at home. It was relaxing with a wonderful view of nature and easy access to a main road into town. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close by. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice little getaway.

Enjoy the fall foliage.

House was super, perfect for our stay. House had all of the amenities we needed. Centrally located to get the sites we wanted to visit. Road noise while outside broken into the silence of the mountains.

A lot of space!

Great place has space enough for 8, maybe 9. Great detail by each light switch inside and out and fan and fireplace! Made it very easy to navigate and very nice heating! Floor heating which was awesome!! Loved the place!!

Friend Reunion

Three friends met a this very comfortable cabin for a time of reunion. The cabin met all our needs including a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a deck to enjoy the surrounding area. John was quick to respond to our questions as they arose. I hope to book again some day!!!

Well located and beautiful

Enjoyed this beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked cabin. Near to where we wanted to visit. Had problem with gas logs and owner was working on their repair. Mainly warm week so we really didn't need them. Not sure about the Christmas decorations already out and didn't like the proximity to Highway. But would highly recommend for those folks especially there for Boones and ASU activities.

A mountain cabin welcome

The lodging was extraordinary in appearance, warmth, and comfort. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice. The master bedroom was well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen well-supplied as well as other rooms. The interior design really jived with the October fall colors. Quite surprising that it was somewhat dressed up ready for Christmas. The outdoor area reflected the mountains theme. Only drawback was the road noise coming from Hwy 105.

We had a wonderful time visiting our daughter. This property is beautiful. The owners paid alot of attention to decorating detail. It is very close to App campus. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept great. Check in wasn’t great. We drove 10 hours and weren’t permitted to check in 30 minutes early. Also, the driveway is very tricky. Narrow and difficult visability. Just be prepared . We did get used to it. All in all would highly recommend as long as you are comfortable with the driveway. Beautiful property.

Great cabin very clean with everything you need

We had a great stay. I have no complaints. We left the property as we found it, the instructions on what to do and not to do as we left were very clear. I would rent again. We had a very minor challenge with the Smart TV and I called Property Management number. I figured out on my own how to use the Smart TV. It is clear the owners of this cabin built it for convenience and enjoyment. Being near Boone is a big plus. You will hear the highway below but since we live in Atlanta it was not an issue. With doors closed you could be in Sweden or Alaska you cannot hear traffic. I highly recommend this property. It is a good price per value property. Lots of pluses.

Home base for a week of adventure

Beautiful home that is reasonable and well stocked. The drive in is not for the faint of heart! We arrived late afternoon during a rain storm. Where the drive "peaks" and transitions from pavement to crushed stone is very akin to the stall at the precipice of a rollercoaster ride being unable to see the drive again until the headlights finally regain it. The approach and parking area were extremely tight for a full size truck and 16' enclosed trailer. Aside from the nerve wrecking first trip up the driveway and the tight space for our truck and trailer, this IS a fantastic rental property that more than met our needs offering plenty of space to park 3 to 4 vehicles without any trailers. TVs, water heater and A/C all worked great and everything needed for our stay was readily available. As a bounus, this is the first VRBO we have stayed at was so generous with trash bags, laundry pods and dishwasher pods. John is very responsive and easy to communicate with.
