"We was in the house round from hotel our room nice and big and clean we had own keys to get in and staff was vey helpful we have been there 3 times now so would stay again"

"Stayed two nights at The Ship hotel in August. The room ( no 7) was on the first floor. It was beautifully decorated and the ensuite bathroom, although quite tiny, had a large shower and good shelf space for toiletries. The juliet balcony looked up the hill, with a sea view to the right. We had a car parking space included, which was very helpful, as space is at a premium. We had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was good, the fresh orange juice delicious and the staff welcoming. We also had an evening meal . The menu wasn't extensive but the food was tasty and well presented. Overall a great hotel, well maintained, friendly staff and a good location in Leigh on Sea."

"Room was very basic but ok for a short trip it was clean and checking in at late hours was a bonus. There was no air con or fans so if I stayed again in this heat I would have to supply my own to feel more comfortable but overall happy and pleasant."

"Our first break in Kent and a wonderful introduction to the sights. The Cottage was very easy to find and the location does not disappoint. Everything you need is provided and of good standard. Plenty of local shops nearby to stock up and many local footpaths to explore. Evenings spent sitting outside were wonderful and lots of wildlife to spot. When we eventually had to bid the Stable farewell, a fantastic break and great memories were ours.Thank you."

"Lovely home but bring earplugs as it is very noisy at night and early morning. The location is superb with so many bars and restaurants to visit. There is no welcome pack so finding out how everything works takes longer but the facilities are amazing in the house. Dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee maker etc. there are some small coffee sachets but you need to bring washing up products as none provided and only one dishwasher tablet so bring what you need. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful and the small balcony with table and chairs off the second bedroom give a nice sea view behind the boatyard The top twin room is accessed by a split staircase which is steep. Not suitable for those with mobility issues . Also I would suggest bringing a small extension lead so you can see the mirror when you plug in the provided hairdryer. Lovely home. Well worth a visit. We were thrilled with our stay Parking can be found at the station. Special rates for weekend stays and free parking if you have a blue badge and register with them Flat path walk from there to the house. Takes about 15-20 minutes (for old people😂)"
