Seaside Paradise

"Our visit to the islands was significantly impacted by Hurricane Lala. Our flight from Maui to Oahu was cancelled twice. After a day and a half delay in getting a flight we were able to get to Oahu. We had contacted the host several times to keep her updated on our travel plans. She was quite accomodating to our situation and offered us a partial refund of our payment due to only being able to stay in the unit 1 night instead of the 23 nights we had planned on being their. Also due to Lala, the unit had no electricity when we arrived. the host provided several battery powered lights to help us get around the unit. the host did allow us to check out 2 hours late so that we could take in one more attraction before our departure. Jacqie was great."

"Worth every penny! Beautiful place, stunning views, having a private beach is everything. Everyone was kind, respectful and pleasant. Meeting Chris in person was nice and she was so helpful throughout the process. She left a book that other guest wrote helpful hints and things they have done and tried which was extremely helpful and made it more enjoyable. The place is so cute throughout, clean, and comfortable. Did I say “the view” haha from the lanai , wow, absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend!Ramos Family-Los Angeles, California"

"The place came with everything you might want when going on a trip from cooler, beach chairs, all amenities and even washer and dryer inside unit. It was nice having beach in backyard and food nearby. Only downside is there was not many but a few roaches and parking can be tough inside the hotels parking lot. There is multiple places to park very close to hotel so that’s not too bad."

"Location is beyond 5 stars. Why anyone would want to stay anywhere else on Oahu is foreign to our way of thinking. Views are wonderful! While the unit has two reserved parking spots immediately next to the elevators, every time we arrived one was filled, and once over the line such that we could not even use the other. Property description clearly says there is no AC. While it was not unbearable, on the first night we arrived late and the unit had been closed up so the temps were pretty uncomfortable. After the first night when we could leave some doors and windows open for circulation it was much more tolerable. We also keep our AC on 78 at home so if you require 60 overnight, it will be a problem. Overall, grateful for being able to use this as base while on the island. Photos are the view out the front and back."

"Great location, exactly as pictured!We had a nice stay here—the place looks exactly like the photos and you can't beat being right on the beach!We did have an issue with the AC when we checked in, but the hosts were responsive and had it completely replaced two days later. The beach chairs provided were a nice thought, though they've seen better days and could use an upgrade.The only real downside was the parking situation, which was tougher than expected. We were initially told we could park in the BHL or hot-pink marked spots, but security informed us only BHL spots were allowed, and there aren't many of them. On the bright side, if you end up having to park down at the local store, you can grab your essentials and a hot dinner—just keep in mind it’s a bit farther than just "across the street.""

"The house rental was a great find. It’s nestled right at the foot of the mountains yet just four minutes to the Kamehameha highway, and about 40 minutes into Waikiki. It was very clean though a little worn in places. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, but no dishwasher or food waste disposal. There is one bathroom with a smallish shower. The living room is open and bright, with extra large windows looking over the back yard. It is well-cooled if you happen to visit in the hotter months (mini-splits in four rooms). This is not a super fancy place, it’s just comfortable. Good find. Nice people, too!"
