"The Orient is on the edge of the German Colony making it convenient to access the center of Jerusalem. It is by the old Train Station. The staff is attentive. The morning breakfast is very good. We have been there several times and have always found it a nice place to stay,"

"This hotel is fine but they don’t do the little things that could make it a much better experience. The buffet breakfast and Shabbat dinners are ver good but only half the foods and salads had descriptions of what it was. It was 90* in Jerusalem -why not have water available to guests in lobby? The first Shabbat we we were there the room was great. Next Shabbat when we returned - same room price- room was small and the tv and some lights were out. It’s just too inconsistent in quality to be a...

"Polite and smiling staff. We had booked a standard family room. At the reception, they told us there was some issue with our room, so they gave us two connecting rooms instead. Plus, the kids each got a toy as a gift. It was great!"

"Disappointing and Unpleasant Stay.
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel was extremely noisy, crowded with kids running around everywhere, and overall very dirty. The buffet restaurant was particularly bad — the floors were filthy, the tables were not cleaned properly, and the entire food area felt unhygienic.
The service was just as bad. The staff were unfriendly, never smiled, never greeted us, and seemed completely uninterested in helping guests. It...

"I've been coming regularly to this hotel in Jerusalem. It gives excellent value for money. I only wish that they buy a good vacuum cleaner, since every time I need to clean the dust from the shelves of the cupboard. This is a small problem, and the stay is usually very nice. Parking on the street across the street is free, the breakfast is nice, and there is a lovely promenade within 10 10-minute walk. If you arrive late (after 10pm), make sure that they give you the code from the door . "

"The view is amazing, when you arrive at the hotel you are greeted by a glorious lobby, everything screams fancy until you check-in and get to the room, the room is incredibly dated and i found it to be quite dusty too. The shower head was too low, (i am only 5ft11 and had to crouch to stay under is)
The breakfast was amazing, one of the best hotel breakfasts around, it's a shame the rest of the hotel falls short as the food is really high quality. I believe based on the current condition of...

"The hotel is centrally located and easy access to restaurants, shops, buses, the light rail, and anything you could really want. I stayed on the 6th floor and there was no noise at all from the street. The room was comfortable and clean.
The staff was terrific! The second night of my stay a high school group stayed at the hotel. They were making a bit of noise, so I called the front desk. The staff were supportive and took care of the problem. There was no further incidents with the students.
On my last day, Nissim, at the front desk helped me get a taxi, even though he was swamped due to having a full house. He was exceptionally helpful.
I would stay at this hotel again."
