Admiral Estates Hotels, Cape May

"We had a problem with the check-in experience. We ended up renting a room from another hotel for our first night there because we were unable to check in, despite calling ahead of time to make sure that we could check on a little late. The kitchenette in our suite was a little strange. The only sink available was the one in the bathroom and there was no soap made readily available to wash our dishes. The room was not very clean, but the view from the room, was great. In all the room wasn't terrible, I just would have rather had a more pleasant first experience with this hotel. I am usually not one who leaves reviews, but I feel it may be helpful for others this time."

"Walls were paper thin. Heater was broken and we had to have it replaced. Blew out dry hot air and kept us up all night as there was no way to adjust between blasting heat or freezing cold. Phone didn't work. Engineer and front desk were very kind but they never made any offer for the problems we faced. Even soap wasn't left in the room by housekeeping. "

"Unfortunately we visited in April when the pool, golf, and coffee truck were closed. It was super cold and windy so we couldn't really enjoy any outside activities. But the room was super cute and clean and the mid-century modern vibe of the motel reminds you of the 50's and 60's. We had the queen suite which was super nice to have a separate sleeping space and mini kitchen. The only improvement I'd recommend is brighter lighting! Even in the kitchen area, there are only a few pendant lights which made putting on makeup for the dance competition a bit tricky"

"It's a cute and very clean hotel. There's an atrium that all rooms open from. There's a parking garage under the facility with an elevator to all floors. The location is great. It's a couple of blocks to the boardwalk and lots of shops and restaurants within a few blocks. The downside is that you can hear people in adjoining rooms. Other than that it's a great place to stay. "

"Amazing location and great staff. Unfortunately there were some minor cleanliness issues- ants and some things that were missed, but nothing serious. Great spot to stay, friendly front desk, breakfast and amenities. Also fun to see the osprey!"

"The staff was fine. Breakfast, although listed as one of the best, was pretty much the same except for a change between pancakes and French toast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Temps were in room controlled so that was helpful. The spa was closed on Wednesday so we never got to use it. Hot tub, we didn't all bring suits so didn't use. We asked more than once for a fire outside snd it never happened.. that was a big disappointment. All in all, I would return."

"Very friendly and clean.. the only issue was there was no hair dryer in the room we stayed in.. also since it was off season there was no breakfast and the site said there was.. otherwise it was a great stay."
