"The amsterdam castle is uniquely decorated and steeped in history. Vety helpful staff and so friendly. Stars Cafe a local diner was great for breakfast or lunch. The ambiance and welcoming vibe had us stop again after leaving lake George We will stop again at the hotel if we are able. "

"The room was very clean, a great stay. Staff were very friendly and the location was great, walking distance to everything and far enough to get some peace and quiet. The only thing that let it down and stopped me from giving them 5 out of 5 in comfort was that outside room 266 there is a very loud noise coming from a fan in the corridor. This was so loud that we had to sleep with the tv on to drown out the noise. Great hotel. "
