Moxy Aberdeen Airport

Moxy Aberdeen Airport

8/10 Good
"Overall, the stay was great, as it has been on the few other occasions I’ve stayed here. The only difference this time was that my room was situated close to the lifts, whereas I usually request a room further away to avoid any noise. Unfortunately, the noise from the lifts was the only issue during this stay, and there was also a constant noise coming from what sounded like the bathroom extractor or something in the bathroom. Other than that, the bed was super comfortable as always, and the parking is great. I’d definitely stay again."

"A budget airport hotel, very well sited for the airport and car hire centre. The walk from the Terminal via the car hire centre to the hotel is mostly under a covered walkway and takes 6 minutes. We stayed at the hotel on our first night in the area and the night before our departure. What you would expect from a decent standard hotel at a very competitive price (including breakfast). Room was in good condition. Staff did their job, especially for breakfast when they were very busy."

"The small village of Tarland is very quiet, so we were surprised at just how good the Commercial Hotel is. I understand that a lot of walkers & cyclists use the hotel and I'm not surprised, as it is in beautiful surroundings and only 5 miles from Aboyne. We received a very pleasant welcome, and our room was large, beautifully furnished and very quiet. Whilst we stayed for 2 nights, circumstances meant we only had breakfast although on our last evening, we saw that the restaurant was quite popular. Breakfast was special with a large choice of cook to order food and lots of tea or coffee. We will stay here again and recommend it to any one looking for a nice hotel in the area."

"We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!"
