"We stayed at the lovely property so that we could attend a family reunion at Lost River State Park. The park was only about 7 miles from the house. The home was lovely. Clean and well maintained. We loved the front porch swing and my 12 year old son spent time on the swing off the front porch. We put on water shoes and explored the creek out back too! "My wife and I stayed at the Red Dog Cottage for our wedding anniversary trip. The cottage and surrounding property were beautiful and meticulously cleaned and groomed. My wife and I enjoy riding ATVs and this location was perfect for that, being only .5 mile from the Hatfield McCoy trail entrance. The property owners are wonderful people and the love they have poured into this property is immediately evident the minute you set foot on it."

"The cottage itself was very nice. Parking a trailer was a nightmare. There isn’t enough room. There is another rental that shared the space and it blocked us even further. We had to unhook trailer and turn it around by hand just to leave. The road leading to the property is very narrow with cars parked on side of road, we barely made it.
