"We had a great stay at the Whimsical Hollow. The property manager went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of during a Mother’s Day snow storm. "Property was incredible. Just incredible. You could hear a pin drop at night. You definitely need 4WD haha. It snowed like crazy during our stay but they got the driveway plowed for us. We had zero complaints. Well actually, it could use a new grill. The knobs don’t function as they should and we couldn’t use it. No biggie. We used the oven/stovetop. "This was an amazing stay, with an even more amazing outcome. We stayed at the lodge for my 30th Birthday, but I also came out of the trip as an engaged man. "Checkin was seamless. Cabin was a little dirty in some areas, but well appointed. No hair dryer, which was an issue due to such cold temps. Very cute cabin in very scenic area. As advertised, definitely need 4x4 to reach the cabin. What is not explained until you read the house rules printed in the cabin is that snow plowing is rare and no set times. So, if you have plans and are receiving heavy snowfall, you may have to cancel those plans as snow plow timing and availability are not promised."

"This is a very cozy cabin in the mountains. There was close to four feet of snow on the deck when we were there during March for Spring Break. It is pet friendly (with a small fee) which was a plus for us! The rug in front of the fireplace had not been vacuumed when we arrived and there were other similar cleaniness concerns, but nothing huge. It is a cabin the mountains!
