“Just okay”
The hotel was large and the staff at the front desk was not very helpful. Requests for things like a second sheet (the bed was made with a bottom sheet and duvet, no top sheet) took a long time to fill. From the information I received at check-in, I assumed that the breakfast was included with my room rate. I was surprised at check out to be charged for 2 breakfasts each day. The breakfast is mainly german-style - lunch meats, cheeses, etc and was overpriced for someone who only had a cup of tea and a croissant.
“Good central choice for Tours.”
Good value for money. Adequate sized room. We were on street side but no problem with noise. Central location very close to rail station. Parking (extra) at underground park nearby. Close to excellent variety of restaurants. Nothing too fancy but excellent as a place to stay if you are roaming the Loire Valley. Helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

This hotel is an excellent value, good location and pleasant service.
“nice to stay”
I loved that this place was clean and, ta-da!, had air-conditioning. We had to walk up a half flight of stairs, but the rest of the floors were covered by elevator. I would definitely recommend the hotel. Stay was extremely friendly.
“Not a 3*”
Hotel is extremely outdated. The rooms are clean but I would never give it 3*, 2* at maximum. This place requres rennovation, urgently. On a plus side, it is very close to train station, front desk is very helpful.
“Le Grand Hotel Tours - super convenient”
The hotel is just outside the train and bus stations but without the noisiness often associated with such a location. The front desk folks were extremely helpful. Room was very clean, convenient, large bathroom. would definitely stay there again. B-fast is a little expensive so we used the brioche shop right next door for b-fast.

Good value for the price. Convenient. Across the street from the train station and public underground parking.
