"Nice clean hotel"
We were visiting Rome for 2 days and wanted something close to the Roma Termini station. The hotel is about 20 minute walk to the main entrance of the station. The hotel was VERY clean. The staff managing the hotel are a family and treat you like family. They were very helpful at the desk and answered all our questions. We checked out at noon, but our train was at 6 pm. We came back to the hotel after visiting the Vatican at 4pm and the staff let us in one of the rooms to change the diapers for our baby. I highly recommend it.

"Convenient, deceptively good hotel."
Convenient for station Termini. This hotel is not obvious from the address, we were however emailed very good instructions on getting there which we unfortunately didnt get as we were travelling for 3 weeks prior to the booking. Took us about 10 mins to find right door at 87b rather than 85 . The email also tells you that payment is cash only which might be worth knowing in advance for some people. ( credit card through Expedia secures booking and price but payment was on checkout) Initially when shown in wondered what the room would be like as went up a floor in a very small , ancient looking lift. But was very pleasantly surprised . Good quality room with everything you need including wi fi. Breakfast buffet style and a little unusual in that there quite a range of cakes to compliment the usual croissants, fruit juices and hot drinks. One of our fellow guests commented on the lack of fruit and yogurt but there was quite a wide selection of stuff. Staff were very relaxed , helpful and friendly . Doesn't have the " image " of some of the larger hotels but we think it was a good find ( based partly on previous Expedia reviews) and very good value compared with a 4* round the corner that we had used at the start of our trip.. Would definitely recommend and consider using again if go back to Rome.

"Good value"
The hotel, whilst not fantastic was very good value for the price. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It is located very close to termini, great for a last night in Rome. The rooms are small, but adequate.

"Overall great experience"
I had a great time at this hotel even though most of the day I was out. I Didn't appreciate the Night auditor because he was oblivious to the fact that there are AC ( air conditioning) in the room. He manually had to start it from downstairs. After a few minutes of trying to make him understand that I'm not stupid.. He turned it on. Ridiculous when you are paying for a room and any guest should be able to leave it on all the time if he/she chooses to.. I must recognize hospitality from Francesco, and Armando for good service and the friendly upgrade after the inconvenience I incurred.

"Location, location, location!"
We loved it there. We have, in fact, recommended it to friends. The hotel staff was wonderful, the location is a very easy walk to Termini and metro, and a relatively easy walk to other points of interest. It is even a few blocks away from a reasonably sized market (which we used - often!). Our recommendations? There's a pizza place (can't recall where, but Yelp should give you an idea) that is only open for lunch. Go there. Also, a few blocks away is Mamma Angela restaurant. Go there too. And stay at this hotel. You won't regret it.

"Perfect hotel"
Everything about this hotel was great. Arrived late morning and our room was ready for check-in. Easy walk to most of what Rome has to offer. If Vatican is too far of a walk, Metro from Termini station will take you there. Neighborhood is safe, many shops and local bars/trattorie. Large grocery store near S. Maria Maggiore is well stocked with food and wine. Breakfast was decent with a large spread of pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit and hot bacon/scrambled eggs. Morning of check out, we departed too early for breakfast. Front desk had prepared a breakfast bag filled with apples, croissants, jam, juice etc. Fantastic!

"A real pensione near Termini"
The hotel is in an apartment building near Termini and is more like a pensione. We had a nice and very large room with an ensuite bathroom that had a proper shower cubicle. The owner was very cool and friendly and we had our own set of keys so we could be independent. There was also a seperate key for our room. There was a kettle in our room to make tea, and the shared kitchen down the hall had a fridge and microwave. We thought it was great value for the price and would definitely stay there again. I was a little nervous at first about having to arrive at a certain time to be let in, but everything was cool and convenient.

Rome’s central train station, Termini is the entry point to the city from Fiumicino Airport, and is an impressive modern architectural sight. Between here and glamorous Via Veneto, there are several interesting places to visit. The Palazzo Barberini is a superb baroque palace, the Terme di Diocleziano was the city’s largest bath complex and the Church of Santa Maria della Concezione is remarkable for its Capuchin monks’ crypt.
