“great weekend”

This long weekend break in the Medina Grand Hotel was great and just what we wanted.I wanted to show my friends from New York U.S.A. Sydney at its best at Xmas.They really enjoyed their stay,as did my husband and I. This hotel did not let me down and therefore made our trip to Sydney great.I will come again without hesitation.

“Great location”

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Medina. It was so conveniently located. Just down the street we were able to purchase 'groceries' so that we could cook some meals in the apartment. The only downside was that the keycard to the apartment was a bit faulty. If we had been staying longer we would have requested a replacement....a very minor fault.

“Great location near an amazing chocolate shop”

Nice room and nice hotel in general. Amazing location. 2 min walk into the heart of darling harbour. 15 min stroll down george street to circular quay. Bed was alittle uncomfortable

Great location, modern, clean room. Balcony wasn't in the description so that was a bonus!

“Most uncomfortable bed”

Great location but would not recommend. Uncomfortable bed, hotel walls are thin, heating is inconsistent, shower water temperature fluctuates from cold to boiling, and towels are collected in the afternoon and new ones delivered several hours later as they have to wash the towels first- insufficient towels in a so called 4 star hotel. Staff were not helpful.

“Fantastic Location”

The train station and many many shops were just across the road, with under cover shopping right through the QV building a Food court and to Meyers & David Jones. The supermarket was also less than 200m away. Darling Harbour & Paddy's Market & Outlets stores were an easy 15-20 min walk away. The only disappointment was the staffs lack of local knowledge & below average service. They didn't even correct my name & address when I pointed out the error and gave the correct details, which made it hard for visitors to find me and my room.

“Great for travelling families”

Travelling with 8 and 10 year olds can often be difficult. The 2 bedroom suite at this hotel was perfect for our family. Very large and well appointed. Reasonably priced for 2 bedroom apartment and very well located.

“Brilliant location”

This is a very central location- good quality, good rate for brilliant placing- even across the road from Airport train service.
