“Good value for the money”
Clean, Central and Quiet.
“Good Hotel”
Clean, comfortable, old...not a luxery hotel, but more than statisfactory and in a good location.
“Totally Customer Oriented”
We arrived at this hotel at 6:30 A.M. after an all night bus ride from Amsterdam. Hoping we could leave our luggage and return later to check in at the appropriate time. We were invited to have the hotel guest breakfast and were given a room by 8:00 A.M. The staff treated us wonderfully, the room was large and very comfortable. We recommend it highly!
“Comfortable place to stay”
This hotel was convenient, central, comfortable and clean. It was a 5 min walk to train station which is great. There was also a laudrimat minutes away as well.
“Nice hotel at a nice price”
This hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the train and just about anything else in Strasbourg. The room is small, as is the norm in Europe, but it was comfortable. The king-size bed is very firm, but it was fine. The room was very quiet. Internet was 5 Euros per night, cheaper than the other 4 hotels that I have stayed in in Strasbourg. Breakfast is 13.50 Euros, pricey and okay, but not worth the money. There are places within a few minutes walk where you can pick up a croissant and a coffee for much less (if you have the time, which I didn't). Parking is under the hotel. The price I paid per night in November, was a steal for a hotel of this quality. Well worth it. Book through Expedia though, the posted rates at the front desk were double what I paid.
“Great Location”
This is a delightful hotel right in the center of where you want to be. The eateries within two blocks are fantastic. Rooms are large and clean, and service was excellent.
“Convenient”
Excellent base from which to explore Strasbourg.
“Great hotel for everyone”
Great location, they recommended a car park round the corner which was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free wifi, tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.
“I DO NOT LIKE HAVING TO PAY FOR WIFI”
PROS: VAN SERVICE WAS VERY TIMELY, FRONT DESK WAS EFFICIENT, EXCEPTIONAL. BEDDING EXCELLENT, VERY VERY QUIET ROOM. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, LARGE QUANTITY OF FOOD. CONS: THERE IS A CHARGE FOR WIFI, THIS IS ABSURD!!! I WAS GIVEN 30 MINUTES OF FREE WIFI , I LOGGED OUT AFTER 5 MINUTES, WHEN I TRIED TO LOG ON AGAIN, HOWEVER THE REMAINDER OF MY 30 MINUTES HAD LAPSED?!?!?!? , AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI. VAN DRIVER IN THE EVENING FROM AIRPORT TO HOTEL WAS VERY UNPLEASANT.
“This is just fine”
This is a hotel that has passed it's prime but offers good value in the heart of old Strasbourg. It's an easy walk from the main station and only a few blocks from some of the primary sights. While the hotel decor is a little dated the room - superior double - was roomy and comfortable, with the usual facilities. I had to ask for an iron and board but these appeared within a couple of minutes. The hotel is located in an 'ordinary' part of the city, so not surrounded by lots of tourist haunts - a plus in my book - but there is a boulangerie on the square and a choice of places to eat within a block. The city tram network is accessible just one street away. Overall, this hotel is perfectly adequate without being flash, and good value when compared to other hotels in the same neighborhood.
