It was very clean and the pictures were accurate, and also the host easily accessible when we had problems or questions about the apartment. "It’s the perfect vrbo- in a great neighborhood but still quiet and private. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. The living room has 2 twin size pull out couches, plus a bedroom with a queen bed. Elena and Stefano are great hosts- they gave us a ton of info on their city and checked in on us. They live next door so if there was ever an issue they were there to help- not that there was."

"Location, location, location! Perfectly located in the actual center of Bologna, overlooking Piazza Santo Stefano and the Seven Churches architectural complex. But not only, there's more. "The the location of the apartment was ideal, while the apartment itself was clean and utilitarian. It would have been nice if one of the bedrooms included a queen-size bed. Also, the kitchen was not really equipped for cooking: no kitchen knives for cutting, no cutting boards and no counter space. They might consider adding a larger Moka as well."

"This beautiful, spacious, classical Italian style property was the perfect landing spot for our first week in Bologna. On the third floor, ovelooking cafes, wine bars and a vital social scene in the center of University life, we still enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the quiet back bedroom. Then down the elevator and out the front door, we could make our first stop at the cafe just across the street, then head out on foot in any direction to explore this interesting and beautiful city."

"The property was great but Hotels.com did not honor the rate posted on the app and I ended up paying 30% higher than if I would have booked at the hotel. I tried to get reimbursement from a Hotels.com agent but they said they could do nothing about it. Even what I prepaid to breakfast wa much higher tjan the hotel directly. The property and employees at the hotel were very good. Good Athena hotel was great but my experience with Hotels.com made it not worth it"
