“Good location and wonderful service”

The staff are friendly and helpful,and the room was clean. The swimming pool is amazing which is next to the beautiful flower field.My boy loves the breakfast buffet on facility,which provides a variety of food. It is two minutes walking distance from hotel to Legoland,but the gate to legoland parking lot is a little bit difficult to find because there is no sign on the sidewalk. The best part for me was the Carlsbad premium outlets which is only two minutes driving from hotel.

Nice Hotel conveniently located accross the street from Lego Land. They have a nice activity room with fuseball, airhocky, ping-pong, etc. The kid's pool is fun. The staff was very helpfull and nice.

This is a beautiful resort! I went for a romantic getaway, but the resort would also be wonderful for a family trip.

“Perfect getaway”

Everything was great; very quiet, rooms are well kept (includes microwave and mid-sized refrigerator), seperate pool attached to the lobby for adults only, underground parking was always easy (valet was optional), Karl Strauss is 38 paces from the side entrance with great food and a plethora of microbrews, staff were friendly, I can't think of any negatives. The location is very close to the beach (which is really awesome at low tide), and the TriCity Wellness Center (great for all workouts from weightlifting to Les Mills classes). There is tons of outdoor shopping 5-10 down El Camino Rea between Calle Barcelona and Garden View. Kids will also enjoy Legoland, which is within walking distance. I can't think of any negatives. We WILL be going back again next spring.

“Great for families. Check which room you get!”

We had two queen beds in room 103 - the room was large and had an additional counter top and sink with plates and dishes in a cabinet. Our traveling friends booked the same deal, but were placed in room 115 which had n o counter, sink, or cabinet. Overall our room was large and pleasant. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the playground and splash pool, and we made good use of the gas grills (the front desk "lent" us all the necessary tools). We walked to Legoland on 2 days - about a 10miin walk which even our 3yo could do. The outlet mall was only a 2min drive away. We will definitely bring the family here again.

“Great hotel room and great experience”

I really liked the 'green' initiatives that GPR has undertaken! I used the fitness room and it was nice and basic. They have a sauna, but no steam room :(. The gift shop is pretty sparse, mostly candy and sun-glasses. My room was fantastic, it was nice, clean, spacious and the bathroom was great too! I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend.

I have stayed here before on both the Hotel side and the Time Share side. Very nice place, great for kids. They have lots of activities for the kids.
