“The Best Place to Stay in Carlsbad!”
I was amazed ay all the amenities and the convenience of this hotel. There were plenty of restaurants in the area and plenty of things to do. My room was totally comfortable.

“Very Pleased”
I was unsure about staying at the hotel because of the price point. However, after reading reviews I took a chance and it was a very nice hotel. Very nice staff and clean. Definitely the easiest access to the beach. Walk accross the street and enjoy. Would stay again and bring my family.
“Two for two”
We stayed here three years ago, just taking a chance on the online information, and were so pleased that we made this our return trip hotel destination. We had a suite room this time, with kitchen and fireplace, appears to have been refurbished recently (very nice carpet). We came back for the location-right across the street from the ocean, walking distance to shops and restaurants, easy drive to Legoland, the prairie school-style decor, the sundeck overlooking the ocean, and the intimate couryard garden/pool.

Small, clean lodge accross from the beach and next to good restaurants,coffee shops,stores and other small towns down the coast like Solana, Leucadia,Encinitas, Del Mar. We enjoyed the area and the 50 acres of the Flower's Field (a must to see), open April and May with thousands of ranunculus..
“Perfect for family vacations”
We loved this hotel! The staff went out of their way to help us with our odd-ball requests. The room was huge and had a great balcony. We were across the street from the beach so we didn't have to worry about parking, and we walked to fantastic restaurants each night. The pool was large and clean, the jacuzzi was clean and pretty. The continental breakfast is sparse, but the cool breakfast guy and the incredible view make up for it. I plan to go back to this hotel. Skip the big name hotels south of here and book this one.

We've stayed in this hotel twice, and despite it's modest star rating, found it to be very pleasant to stay in. The location is ideal for both pedestrian and vehicle access to the deliteful town of Carlsbad. The breakfast room is complimented by a very congenial host. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys basic, but comfortable accomodation.

This hotel was located in a perfect spot to truely enjoy the beach, without the hassel of stay in a hotel near San Diego.
“A wonderful place to stay”
We visited the San Diego area for a quick 4 day stay with three adults and three children in two rooms. This hotel is convenient to the places we wanted to go - Legoland and Sea World. On our last day the kids got to play on a beautiful beach which is right across the street from the hotel. The morning breakfast which was included in the price of the room was just right, the parking was free and covered, and everyone on the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We loved it here and will be back.
