Excellent location and helpful staff. Nice of them to have a packed breakfast ready to hand out when you are leaving very early in the morning (before 6am!)

“Excellent for the price”

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was bigger than we expected and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was free and delicious. We walked to everyone of the main attractions in Rome without a problem. The hotel is very close to many restaurants as well, and the staff is able to make recommendations.

“Very good hotel for price!!!!”

The room was great. Bed advertised as a double and ended up being a Queen size!!! Could not hear any outside traffic but could hear other rooms bathrooms and corridor noise. We were able to borrow DVD's from reception which was a nice added bonus. Room was warm yet corridors were freezing. Overall a very pleasant stay especially for the price!! Location was perfect too 15 min walk to Colloseum, and Trevi fountain. N.B. Rome now charges a local tax so hotel does not charge 3Euro per person per night additional payment on leaving hotel.

“Great hotel for a family”

Good value for money. Good location within walking distance of most of the sights. Only 5 minutes from Termini. Very helpful staff. It was nice to have free WiFi (with a decent bandwidth) and breakfast included.

“Review of Rex”

Convenient to train station and sites and restaurants. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful and the room comfortable. The baths were a little dated but fine. Would highly recommend for those wanting to be near the sites and still enjoy the comforts of a fine hotel.

“An excellent find”

This is a great hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Although it's only a few minutes walk from Termini station, the room we were in was very peaceful. You can walk downhill to Ancient Rome in 20 minutes or get to the metro in 5 to go further afield. The cold breakfast is good and the choices changed from day to day so it didn't get boring. Little touches such as getting a photocopy of the front page of a newspaper at breakfast and turning down the beds and leaving sweets on the pillows created a feeling of being genuinely welcome.

Very good Hotel, excellent located. We stayed there before our cruise and we felt wonderful. Very close to Termini train station. Laura from the reception was great. Breakfast was delicious.

“When in Rome.... stay at hotel Rex”

This hotel is a great choice at a very convenient location only 5 minutes from Termini Station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and clean, breakfast was very decent as well. I will stay here again when I'm in Rome next time.
