“A wonderful small hotel - excellent value”

This is a fabulous hotel and I can't recommend it highly enough. It is located 15-20 minutes walk from Termini (main train station) down a straight road, so easy to find. The decor, fixtures and fittings are all modern and well maintained. All the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. This is a very small hotel with 12 rooms (I think), which means you are not just treated as a room number, but as a person. If I had to change one thing, it would be the mattress. As I have a bad back, it was a bit too hard for me, but that is just personal preference. A word of warning, the hotel is located at a busy junction, so it can be a bit on the noisy side, but this really shouldn't put you off as it is a tiny blip in what is otherwise a top class experience... you can always take earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

“A Rome gem”

A good Rome hotel. The only down side is that it is not as close to the major sites as it could be but it is well served by public transport - bus, tram and metro.

“Very modern!”

A very nice contemporary hotel- lovely rooms. Not the best location but a walk to the main central train station and a short walk to the metro, make this hotel quite convenient. Breakfast was fine- nothing to rave about but did the job. Good value for the price.

“Very Pleased”

I loved this hotel. It was nice and large for Italian standards. The staff was very helpful. The neighborhood was a little scary. From the termnini take bus # 105 and it is the third stop. you can also take the metro but it neither stop is very close.

“Great Hotel”

Very Friendly, very clean and a great place to stay and would again. Not far from metro and bus stop right outside. No name on the hotel building, but still found it!

“Excellent all-round hotel”

A little far from the main attractions, but still a very attractive, comfortable hotel, and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

“A great place to stay.”

Our stay in hotel Latinium was fantastic. The room was clean, a good sized, and represents good value for money. The Staff where great, giving us fantastic advise on the city. The only negatives about the hotel was the distance from the tube (although its close to bus and tram stops). Oh and the hotel name isn't on the entrance so its not that easy to find!

“Excellent Hotel”

Hotel clean, well presented, glass floor in reception is a nice touch. Staff are friendly, helpful & all spoke english well. Breakfast is good. Metro within 10 min walk. Busses & trams right outside (you can walk almost everywhere in central Rome anyway). Would reccommend to anyone thinking of a city break!

“Gorgeous Hotel”

Great hotel, great price for Rome. Close to buses, short walk to the metro, very quiet considering its proximity to the train line. Our room looked newly refurbished, plush fittings, friendly staff, limited but nice breakfast included. I think the address is 13 Piazza Portamaggiore as number 11 did not look like anything inhabitable!
