“Very nice hotel for a family”

Managers were very helpfull answering all our many questions. We had 2 young children with us who enjoyed being able to borrow a childrens dvd movie to watch in the room after a busy day.

We had such a lovely, comfortable stay at Alexis. Everyone was lovely and helpful, the location was super convenient, the views fantastic and the spa bath was a real treat after a day skiing. Highly recommended.

Views are great from the hotel , spacious rooms , everything being thought about and placed , enough utensils and equipment to have a nice meal inside the room , facilities were excellent , DVD for free rental for kids , in our room there was a laundry and dryer facility which was great ! Only thing that could be better are the beds which were slightly softer than what we are used to , overall great ! Will love to come back and stay with them ,

Everything was great...room, staff, location. The only complaint was that the mattress was very hard.

““Incredible Views/Large, Clean Rooms””

The Alexis is a gem. The rooms were large, comfortable and meticulously clean. It's just outside of Queenstown (therefore quieter), with three gorgeous options for the 10-minute stroll into town. Hostess Faye (subbing for the owners who were on holiday) was wonderfully kind and helpful with suggestions of restaurant and expeditions. This hotel has the best views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables of anywhere in town!

Kelly and Adrian were very nice and helpful. The views from the motel are very nice of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown. Quiet enough even off the main road. Nice location.

Nice hotel, close to "downtown" queenstown, easy access to ski hills, grocery store etc. Ski lockers with locks and covered parking, nice tv and free dvd movies available at the desk, Nice little kitchenette as well and washer and drier in the room. we are a family of 6 so need some space and this worked well for us. beds were a bit hard but had electric blankets which were grand, fabulous view of the mountains and lake

“Great for a family getaway”

We found the Alexis clean and comfortable, and enjoyed the fantastic views. The location is very convenient to town, particularly its proximity to the lake and the gardens which are lovely. The staff was friendly, and the covered parking a plus. The One bedroom apartment was a bit crowded for 4, but we managed.

“Family experience”

A wonderful week in Queenstown was added to by this accommodation. Nicely situated, just a short walk from everywhere, good off street covered parking, very amiable hosts, excellent views and comfortable rooms. We had 2 adults, and two teenage boys in one apartment, all fitted comfortably. Recommended.
