"Having a kitchen and washer dryer is an expected bonus. We saved money by not having to eat out all the time and wonderful to be able to do laundry. The accommodation is standard but you get a spectacular swimming pool with million dollar view of the sea. The rooms are basic and not luxurious. The walk up the hill to Martinique makes you think twice of what you want to carry up from Woolworth’s. You do get a nice, unintended cardio workout. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended....

"We stayed in unit 16b. The apartment was clean and the king size bed was awesome. The door locks on its own so make sure you take the key if you leave. We mentioned this to the caretaker as we had read it in reviews as well. She said she would have someone look at it. But why not have it fixed if it already had been mentioned more than once? "The property overlooks the ocean- the views are gorgeous-but is only a 10 minute walk into town and to the beach. The town is wonderful! So many cute shops and restaurants, and the Whitsundays are unbelievable! We stayed in a 3-bedroom unit- it was huge, with an enormous balcony-and it was beautiful. The pools were terrific, too! "
