“QY Port Douglas - Excellent Resort”

will definetely come back to this paradise. we came for a wedding held in port douglas so our stay wasnt long enough, so next time we want to come with entire family, the FOOD is magnificent, the pool looked amazing the grouds are superb and the staff is fantastic we loved QT and highly recomend it Thanks guys

“Fantastic.”

The whole hotel/resort exudes a youthful energy which makes everyone from families to couples to mature patrons feel welcome. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and their colourful outfits add to the general atmosphere of the hotel. The breakfasts are bountiful and can keep you going all day, while the dinners at the hotel are a feast. The local shuttle bus picks up from the hotel for a five minute trip into Port Douglas and runs regularly. You may never have to venture far from the swimming pool, but if you do, remember to ask at the hotel about the best places to swim or explore to avoid crocodiles. A section of the beach is guarded by life guards.

Great welcome, good direction to room. Offered add on's. The room is very attractive with great furnishings and nick nacks that you could buy. Resort pool was popular and lounges all taken. Swim up pool bar was popular as well. Both children and adults used the pool and a family atmosphere was evident, bar staff great with service. This would be a great place to bring the family but also couples would enjoy.

“Terrific hotel and staff.”

The customer service levels of every single staff member was phenomenal. We really enjoyed the hotel, bar and pool. The restaurant was also terrific for both breakfast and dinner. My only qualification would be our room in that it was a bit small and basic. I would gladly stay at the QT again but I would opt for an ungraded room next time as the room we were in was a bit of a let down compared to the expectations created from the rest of the hotel.

“Couldn't have been happier”

Genuinely friendly & welcoming, helpful staff. Great facilities - pool with swim up bar, gym, tennis courts, lap pool. Bazaar was delicious - but make sure you're hungry as it is a set fee ($65) for all you can eat. Concierge team more than happy to provide advice for things to do & had lots of local knowledge.

“Refreshed and comfortable”

I liked the new QT rebrand and the little touches that brightened it up without being over the top as important to feel that you are in Port Douglas and not in a city hotel.

Qt port Douglas is absolutely beautiful would recommend it to anyone, couples & families. The 2 restaurants on site swimming pool with pool bar the local shuttle buses, an the staff are so helpful an friendly. Will be going back :)

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Service very prompt. Decor fabulous and funky room wasn't always cleaned very well - eg toilet/bathroom left dirty. dirty dishes left in room by cleaners.

An amazing resort!! The staff were incredible and their attentiveness, attitudes and friendliness made our trip. The facilities were outstanding, the restaurant is delicious and definitely worth a try. Thanks to all the team at QT for a great holiday, I can't wait to come back!!

Great hotel, interesting fit-out. Good approach to food. Staff were incredibly helpful and approachable. Great if you're after a reliable hotel with a few (good) unique quirks.
