“Meh”
It was ok, totally decorated on the outside and pathways excellently but the room we were in made it feel like I was below deck on a small boat. The bathroom was tiny and the drain for the shower was very odd.
“Excellent - Thailand at its best”
The Sawadee village is a stunning oasis in the heart of the Kata area of Phuket. The decor, food, pool and service are truly amazing. If you can't relax here... you can't anywhere. We were originally told to stay at the JW, but if your going to thailand, you might as well stay somewhere thai and get the full experience. Also - the pictures are 100% accurate - exactly what you see when you get there!
“Secret Paradise”
We loved our stay at Sawasdee Village. A beautiful authentic Thai resort. Stunning rooms, gardens and restaurant. The staff were lovely and helpful. A beautiful place to unwind, away from the madness of Patong Beach but only a ten minute ride to get to if crowds, bars and hawkers are your thing. A plesant five minute walk to Kata Beach.
“I love this place!!!”
This hotel was absolutely amazing. Everything including the hotel grounds, every detail has been thought about, beautiful pool with pool bar, lovely room with mosquito net. Shower with natural light and showed head beaming down direct from the ceiling. The staff were so sweet and attentive. Gives you a great impression of the thai's (instead of the hussle and bussle of Patong). The breakfast is awesome. Omelettes, curries, fresh fruit, everything you could wish for and great coffee to match with 5 different sugars on the table. I was so impressed with this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely return, I have stayed in alot of hotels travelling and this is number one.
“peace and Quiet”
This hotel is just like the pictures but better. The staff were so friendly and polite. They have a great breakfast and dinner restaurant and great value for money. Highly recommend this place to stay to couples or singles, not really for the kids.
“One of the best in Thailand”
If you really want to discover truly Thai style comfort, you cannot miss this hotel. The garden of the hotel is extremely amazing and decor of the room is very oriental Thai. Don't miss the spa and Thai food in the hotel as well. Beautiful Kata Beach is just 5 minutes walk distance.
“Can't wait to go back.”
Staff very gentle and friendly. A beautiful hotel with large comfortable bed. The aroma of lemon grass wafted into our room from defusers in the garden. Exotic, lust green gardens with a wonderful swimming pool. The resort had an exotic Moroccan - Thai influence. Good selection for breakfast, which changed every day. Had a tour of the villa which was out of this world, will definately stay in villa next holiday in Thailand.
“Would consider another visit”
Staff were fantastic, rooms are very small, beds are huge, computer with internet in each room an asset, Baray Spa a relaxing experience, Breakfast worth waking up for. Bar shuts at 7pm -a little early but then again the rooms located around the pool and bar probably like the peace and quiet. We missed the hustle and bustle of Patong at first but soon got to appreciate the quieter side of Thai life.
“Kata, Phuket Oasis”
Sawasdee Village was a beautiful tropical oasis set admist a lush exotic ornamental garden. The swimming pool was beautiful and a relaxing escape from the shopping and beaches. Althought blocked out by Club Med from direct beach access the walk takes less than 5 minutes. I used the spa their twice and had the Bliss Package, it was great. The spa is really beautiful and captures the essence of a tropical spa - very clean and again very exotic. The restaurant was lovely and the service great, we had a breakfast everyday and dinner twice. Would highly recommend this resort. It was great to be out of Pattong (15 mins by taxi). The beaches and surrounding restaurants were great.
